Russian Krasnodar region authorities have decided to temporarily ban the use of unmanned civilian aircraft over the territory of the region from December 12, the governor of the Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratiev noted in a statement, published on the official website of the regional administration.

"Temporarily prohibit from 00:00 12 December 2022 the use of unmanned civil aircrafts in the airspace over the territory of the Krasnodar region, with the exception of unmanned civil aircrafts used by public authorities of Krasnodar Krai and their subordinate institutions, federal public authorities, local authorities in the Krasnodar region, organizations that perform state defence order, as well as other organizations under contract with the state authorities

The decision was made in order to strengthen protection of public order and ensuring public safety in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
