An informal summit of the CIS leaders will be held on December 26-27 in St. Petersburg. Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee and CIS Executive Secretary, said so, RIA Novosti reports.
He called the forthcoming meeting important: "On the invitation of the President of Russia this meeting will take place on December 26-27. We hope it will give an additional impetus to our cooperation," Lebedev said in Minsk.
