Nissan jointly with the manufacturer of sneakers New Balance has released a special version of the crossover Kicks in Japan, the appearance of which repeats the design of sports shoes, Japanese Nissan website reported.

Car body coating recreates the texture of suede, which is used for making sneakers of the model New Balance 327, as well as their soles.

The New Balance logo is placed on the right side of the crossover, while the name of the special edition is on the left side.

The car will be on display in Tokyo at the Nissan Gallery, which is located in the prestigious Ginza district. In addition, the automaker announced a contest, during which promises to hold a drawing of Nissan Kicks among those who will take pictures and publish photos of special edition Nissan Kicks 327 Edition on the streets of the city. It is not specified, whether the winner will get a standard Kicks, or a special version with sneaker design.
