The Artsakh government published a statistical bulletin for the 45th day of the blockade.

11 children are in the neonatal and intensive care departments of the Children's Hospital

10 adult patients are in intensive care unit, 3 are in extremely serious condition

164 babies have already been born in the blockade

Because of the termination of planned operations in all medical institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of Artsakh 500 citizens were deprived of the opportunity to solve their health problems through surgery.

Until today, with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross 46 patients have been brought from Artsakh to Armenia for appropriate treatment.

Due to the difficult economic situation at least 4,700 people have lost their jobs and source of income.

More than 17,600 tons of vital goods would have been transported to Artsakh if not for the blockade. The International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian Federation peacekeeping contingent had supplied only a fraction of it.

Because of the worsening food shortage under the blockade, 41 kindergartens and 56 pre-school groups have been closed completely or partially since 9 January.

6,828 children can no longer attend kindergartens, pre-schools and after-school care facilities, being deprived of adequate care, food and education.

Since January 18, because of problems with heating and electricity all 118 schools in Artsakh are suspended, more than 20,000 children are deprived of the right to education.
