Iran's Foreign Ministry introduced new sanctions against dozens of officials and organizations of the European Union and Britain for supporting terrorism, Tasnim reports.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry statement, these individuals and organizations are sanctioned for supporting terrorism and terrorist groups, inciting and encouraging terrorist acts and violence against the Iranian people, interfering in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, inciting violence and unrest in Iran, spreading false information about Iran and participating in escalating harsh sanctions against the Iranian people.

The statement also condemns the actions of the EU and the UK in supporting and facilitating the destructive actions of targeted individuals and organizations in violation of international obligations regarding the fight against terrorism.

Individuals and entities on the sanctions list will be denied visas to visit Iran, their accounts and transactions in Iran's financial and banking systems will be blocked, and their assets within the jurisdiction of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be blocked.
