On Wednesday, Armenian Interior Minister Vahe Ghazaryan received delegations from the European Union and U.S. Embassy to Armenia, led by Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin and U.S. Charge d'Affaires Chip Laitinen.

In welcoming the guests, Ghazaryan praised the effective cooperation with the EU delegation and the U.S. Embassy, which has been intensifying during recent years, as informed NEWS.am. He mentioned a number of reforms being implemented and thanked the guests for their assistance. The Minister of Interior expressed his willingness to continue cooperation.

In turn, Wiktorin presented the implemented works, which involve both the police, rescue and migration services.

Laitinen presented the work done in the anti-drug program and law enforcement cooperation. Special mention was made of the cooperation in the establishment and development of the patrol service.
