Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, on the latter’s Republic Day. The message states as follows, in particular:

"India, being a thousand-year-old civilization with democratic values, currently has a major role in forming the agenda for responding to global challenges. In this sense, India's successful presidency of the UN Security Council is an outstanding example, which gives us hope that India's presidency of the G20 will also contribute to regional and global peace and stability.

It should be noted with pleasure that Armenian-Indian friendly relations are expanding and deepening, as well as new frameworks and directions contributing to the development of cooperation can be observed, which raise our cooperation to a truly new qualitative level."
