Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia on the latter’s national holiday, Australia Day. The message reads as follows, in part:

"Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Armenia and Australia have developed friendly bilateral ties, sharing common values and goals. I sincerely hope that with joint efforts we will give a new charge to our relations for the benefit of our peoples.

The large Armenian community in Australia, which plays a significant role in all spheres of Australian social and political life, is also an important stimulus for the development and strengthening of our interstate cooperation."
