There was a meeting with the EU technical group in Vayots Dzor Province, but not yet with the group implementing the monitoring mission. Governor Karen Sargsyan of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province told reporters about this on Thursday.

"There was a discussion about which group the monitoring groups will be deployed in and what kind of services are needed in the province for them to be deployed. However, passivity was observed during the service organized by them in the previous two months; we evaluate [it] positively. They will be in our province, too, they will carry out patrol service. They will monitor along the border," said Sargsyan.

The governor of Gegharkunik said that 14 of the houses damaged in Sotk village as a result of the Azerbaijani military aggression last September have not been repaired yet.

"Basically, the dwellings where people don't live, or took the money and didn't spend on repairing the damage, have remained unrepaired. And we have two families who are outside of Armenia," he said.
