Head of countryside real estate center of federal company "Etazhi" Anton Saukov said that it was suggested to confiscate dachas and land plots for debts, his words are reported by the newspaper Izvestia.

As noted Saukov, this initiative will be applied to those cases where the owner fails to pay the target and membership fees for three years or more.

According to him, the question of withdrawal usually concerns abandoned land, of which there are about 15% in garden associations in Russia. It's rather difficult to sell or withdraw them now and that's why garden communities which don't receive enough financing suffer.
