The son of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has been accused of abuse of office, according to Japanese media.

According to the newspaper, Setaro Kishida, who serves as his father's secretary for political affairs, used his official car for private tourist trips in Europe while traveling.

Japanese Deputy Cabinet Secretary General Kihara Seiji noted that the government was aware of the publication.
