Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner Dunja Mijatović has reiterated her statement on the need to immediately restore movement through the Lachin corridor. 

Mijatović tweeted that the current situation once again shows the importance of ensuring free and unhindered access for humanitarian aid and international human rights missions to all regions and people, including Nagorno-Karabakh and the local population.

She stressed the need for effective and flexible access conditions that would allow all relevant actors, including the Office of the Commissioner, to have priority access to those in need of humanitarian assistance and human rights protection.
