The factors that affect fluctuations in the exchange rate are many and unpredictable. Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), Martin Galstyan, told this to a press conference Tuesday.
He explained that capital inflow or outflow, import and export dynamics, etc. have a bearing on fluctuations in the exchange rate.
Galstyan recalled that the trend of the previous year was due to the geopolitical situation prevailing in the world.
