The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Russia will send two planes to Turkey in connection with the earthquake in that country, RIA Novosti reported, citing the press service of the MES.

It was noted that the Russian MES is ready to send rescuers to Turkey to help eliminate the consequences of the devastating earthquake that occurred in the Turkish province of Gaziantep on earl Monday morning.

A 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in Turkey early Monday morning. Its epicenter is the Pazarcik region of Kahramanmaras Province. The tremor was felt also felt in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Kayseri, Mersin, Trabzon, and Urfa Provinces.
