
A new earthquake has occurred Monday in the eastern regions of Turkey; the tremor was felt in the capital, Ankara, too.
A 4.2-magnitude quake was recorded in southeastern Turkey on Monday afternoon, according to Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute of Turkey.
The epicenter of this seismic activity was in Malatya Province, which also was affected by the earthquake on early Monday morning.
The aftershocks were felt in Ankara as well.
