The European Union (EU) will allocate about €4 million to provide advice to Ukraine on economic policy, its reforms and their implementation to strengthen business in the country. Information about this is contained in the tender documentation.

This project is designed to provide emergency support to Ukrainian institutions responsible for the formation and implementation of economic policies aimed at providing effective assistance to the country's private sector affected by the conflict with Russia, primarily SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), the document said.

In the second half of January, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the U.S. Corporation for International Development Finance (DFC) was going to mobilize up to $1 billion to support the Ukrainian economy.
