On February 6, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirozyan, who is in Berlin on a working visit, delivered remarks as a speaker at the round table discussion held at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
In his speech, Minister Mirzoyan touched upon the current security environment in the South Caucasus and the challenges faced by the Republic of Armenia, the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno Karabakh as a result of the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan.
Foreign Minister of Armenia presented the latest developments on the normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Views were exchanged on the development of Armenian-German relations, as well as the expansion of the Armenia-EU partnership.
During the meeting, the process of normalisation of relations between Armenia and Turkey were also touched upon.
