The number of Armenians killed as a result of a strong earthquake in Turkey is increasing. Musician Udi Yervand says Samvel, brother of Tigranakert (Diarbekir) Armenian musician Stepan Yepremyan, is among the victims.

According to the latest information the number of those who died as a result of the earthquake in the south-east of Turkey on February 6 exceeded 8.5 thousand; 49,133 people were injured.
