U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during which they discussed security and economic cooperation, the State Department said.

They discussed continuing strong security and economic cooperation at a time when Russia's unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine is approaching the one-year mark, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.

The Secretary of State underscored the United States' unwavering commitment to Ukraine, including the recent provision of additional security assistance to help Ukraine continue to defend itself against Russian aggression, Price pointed out.
