The position of the Islamic Republic of Iran is as follows: regional issues should be resolved with the participation of the countries of the region. Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this, when asked how Iran assesses the fact that the EU has sent a new monitoring mission to Armenia for two years, in which French gendarmes will also be included.
"Of course, other countries can contribute in terms of ensuring security and peace in the region. But resolving [regional] issues with the participation of regional countries can ensure security, peace, which will be based on dialogue and discussions," added the Iranian diplomat.
