Polish authorities have decided to close the international border crossing with Belarus in Bobrowniki due to the security interests of the country. A statement to this effect was posted on Twitter Thursday by Mariusz Kaminski, head of the Polish Interior Ministry.

"Taking into account important national security interests, I have decided to suspend traffic at the Polish-Belarusian border crossing in Bobrowniki from 12:00 February 10 this year until further notice," he wrote.
