Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that as a result of the devastating earthquake in the country, according to the latest data, 14,014 people died, 63,794 people were injured and 6,444 buildings were destroyed. He announced this during a public speech in Gaziantep, the Milliyet newspaper reports.

Previously, 12,873 dead and 62,937 injured were reported.
