The powerful earthquake has claimed two lives from the only Armenian village in Turkey. Yesayi Mardiros Havatyan informs about this, stressing that the head of Vakifli village of Mount Musa confirmed that two people from the village were in some other cities during the earthquake and died.

"After the earthquake, all the houses and the church in Vakifli have certain damages, and people do not want to stay in the houses. The Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople [(Istanbul)] has sent aid to the village. And some people from the village will be transferred to Istanbul," said Havatyan.
