Turkish President Erdogan expressed special gratitude to Aliyev for Turkey's assistance. Speaking to Azerbaijani media, the Turkish president said he was aware of assistance from Azerbaijan.
"As in Karabakh Turkey was together with Azerbaijan, so now Azerbaijan does not leave Turkey alone in a difficult situation. Our motto is: One nation, two states," Erdogan said.
