The Hungarian authorities are not going to ratify Ukraine's membership in the European Union if Kyiv refuses to resolve the issue of oppression of national minorities, the head of the Hungarian prime minister's administration, Gergely Gulyás, said in the statement.
"If there is no progress in the issue of national minorities, there will be no Hungarian ratification," said Gulyás.
The official noted that some laws of Ukraine, which regulate national policy, do not meet EU standards. He also noted that if Kyiv became a member of NATO now, a world war would begin.
