Azerbaijan continues to make absurd demands of Iran concerning the visits of Iranian citizens to Nagorno-Karabakh.
Azerbaijani media reported that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov once again made a statement on the subject in the context of accusations against Armenia.
"The Azerbaijani side is sure that contrary to the trilateral statement, Armenia is again interested in the illegal use of the Lachin road," Mammadov said.
"The illegal use is understood as the rotation of the Armenian military contingent still not withdrawn from the Karabakh region, the transportation of looted minerals to Armenia and their export to international markets by the said road, the delivery of representatives of third countries to the region, especially some citizens of Iran, about which Tehran still has not given explanations," Mammadov noted.
