Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The press service of the Armenian government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The interlocutors touched upon the humanitarian, environmental and energy crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor.

The Prime Minister noted the importance of necessary steps taken by Russia to overcome it. At the same time, the Prime Minister stressed the fact of the decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the unblocking of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan.

Issues of implementation of the agreements reflected in the trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on 9 November 2020, 11 January and 26 November 2021 were discussed.

Views were exchanged on the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
