Japan's Nissan Motor Co plans to introduce 27 new car models by 2030. This is stated in a released on Monday company's strategy.

19 of 27 new models will be equipped with electric motors. Also in fiscal 2024, beginning April 1, 2024, the company plans to introduce an electric car designed exclusively for sales in the Chinese market.

Nissan plans to increase the share of electric vehicles, including hybrids, to 58 percent of sales in Japan and 98 percent of sales in Europe by 2026.
