Armenian-Indian friendship has actively deepened in the last two years, there is work to do in various domains, but the most important is the domain of trade, and establishing easier contact in the future will help strengthen trade ties and cooperation in various domains arising from it. Tejas Sanjay Pagar, Charge d'Affaires of India to Armenia, told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

Armenian-Indian trade relations have deepened, and last year Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan visited India with a large delegation of businessmen, the Indian diplomat emphasized.

Pagar did not want to emphasize now in which domains, but said we will soon see multifaceted development, and added that Indian businessmen and companies will invest heavily in Armenia and their presence in the country will be visible in various domains.

And reflecting on the fact that Azerbaijan demands an extraterritorial corridor from Armenia, and Iran declares that it is categorically against the change of borders, the Indian charge d'affaires said that his country has already announced its official position in this regard, India announced it at the UN Security Council as well when there were developments at Armenia’s border with Azerbaijan.
