Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the lack of agreements in the negotiations on the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program is the result of a miscalculation of U.S. policy. His words at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva were reported by IRNA news agency.

"Past experience has taught us to approach the new round of negotiations more cautiously and sensitively," Abdollahian noted.

Earlier, the Iranian diplomat said that Iran has an "alternative project" in case negotiations on the resumption of the nuclear deal fail.
