Ford Motor plans to resume manufacture of the Lightning model, the electric version of the popular F-150 pickup truck in the US, on March 13. Thus, the release will resume after a one-month hiatus, CNBC notes.

On February 4, this vehicle’s battery caught fire during charging, which caused manufacture to stop.
Ford is not releasing details of the problem that caused the vehicle to catch fire.

Batteries for Ford are manufactured by South Korean SK On Co. at a plant in the US state of Georgia.
