Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: As is known, the first Stepanakert-Baku meeting took place on March 1. (...). Commander of the [Russian] peacekeepers [in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)], Andrey Volkov, was also present.

(…) the meeting was not productive.

The Azerbaijanis tried to lead the conversation in the direction of "the issues of the reintegration of the Armenian population of the Karabakh region into Azerbaijan," later they publicized such information. But in fact the Armenian side refused to discuss "political issues," noting that there are special formats for discussing these issues, one of which is the [OSCE] Minsk Group, the other—the format of tripartite meetings, whereas they are only authorized to discuss the matters of [re]opening the [Lachin] corridor, restoration of [natural] gas and electricity supply [to Artsakh] and, at most, the organization of a one-time Azerbaijani tour to the Kashen and Drombon mines.

Basically, the meeting ended with a zero result, and no agreement was reached about future meetings.
