Turkey has supported the initiative of the Russian side on a working meeting on Syria, which is planned to be held next week in Moscow. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced this during a joint news conference with his visiting Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, reports Anadolu Agency.

According to him, these quadrilateral discussions on Syrian topic are planned with the participation of Turkey, Russia, Syria, and Iran.

From the Turkish side, the deputy FM will participate in these talks, Cavusoglu added.

He noted that the participants of this meeting to be held in Moscow will prepare the ground for a meeting at the level of foreign ministers.
