Our perception is that there should be an international mechanism that would guarantee the continuity of the conversation between that Baku and Stepanakert because Azerbaijan, let's say, spoke twice, then said, "I'm tired, I'm not talking anymore." Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his press conference today—and addressing the question of what "visible mechanisms" assume, which has been talked about for a long time.

"Either security and rights became integration and then became something else. What will happen in the end? I also mean this that we are not going to give Azerbaijan a mandate to carry out [Armenian] ethnic cleansing or genocide in Nagorno-Karabakh.

We see that there was a huge international reaction to the closure of the Lachine corridor [by Azerbaijan]. This means that the international community sees the threat and also feels its responsibility regarding this situation. We say that there should be that international mechanism that will ensure the continuity of that conversation. We have our ideas about it and have made several proposals. Now it is not correct for me to voice our proposals. We have described at least 2-3 such mechanisms, and we must continue to work in that direction. The fact-finding mission we are talking about can also be a part of that international mechanism," the Armenian PM said.
