An earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.7, occurred Thursday in the Turkish city of Bolu, 250 kilometers east of Istanbul, Turkish seismologists report.

The tremors were recorded at 1:55pm, and they were followed by at least two aftershocks, reported the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute of Turkey.

The epicenter was located at a depth of about 10 kilometers in Kizilagil village in the Bolu District.

There are no reports of victims or devastation.
