Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Moscow on March 20. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, announced this during Thursday’s press briefing.
According to her, Lavrov will discuss with Mirzoyan the settlement of the situation around the Lachin corridor and the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"On the agenda of the negotiations are regional issues, including the settlement of the Lachin Corridor and, in general, the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, the implementation of tripartite agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
“We expect that the upcoming meeting will contribute to the improvement of the quality of the dialogue with Yerevan, as well as to the strengthening of security and stability in the South Caucasus," said Zakharova.
