YEREVAN. - Armenia’s state Commission on the protection of economic competition went to court demanding that the “Aleks Grig” company withhold its 10 kinds of vodka alcohol beverages from sale.

The comission fined the MP Samvel Aleksanyan’s company “Aleks Grig” several times for copying trademarks and selling them. However, despite the commission’s decision, “Aleks Grig” company refused to withhold its products from sale. The hearings of some cases took a long time, but according to the representative of the commission, Hayk Karapetyan, by September 26 all cases were closed. He hopes that the vodkas will come out of sale until the end of this year.

On September 27 the “Yerevan city” supermarket chain still sales fake vodkas.
