YEREVAN. - Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Armen Gevorgyan visited Marmarik reservoir construction site in Kotayk region of Armenia on Saturday.

Construction works are drawing to the end and in the event of favorable weather conditions the reservoir will be commissioned by the end of this year.

The reservoir will allow easier and more effective irrigation of around 1,200 hectares in Kotayk region and Ararat valley. It will accumulate around 24 million cubic meters of water.
