Iran will become a full member in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the summer. This was announced by the country foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

The Iranian diplomat noted that this will happen in July, Tasnim News Agency reports.

Amir-Abdollahian said that this will take place at the summit of foreign ministers of the SCO member countries, which will be held on July 4-5 in the capital of India, New Delhi.
