A murder with firearms took place Tuesday in Yerevan, shamshyan.com reports.

At around 10:10pm, a Yerevan police precinct received a report that there was a dead man on a road.

The police officers who were dispatched to the scene found the dead body of a man with gunshot wounds in the aforementioned place.

Criminal proceedings have been launched on the grounds of murder.

The police and investigative department are finding out the identity of this man and are taking steps to identify the murder suspect, and to find the latter and the murder weapon.

Several persons who were assembled at the scene, who did not wish to speak on video camera, said that the murdered man was "Varazik of Gnuni," who was known for his criminal history.
