Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: After the [Nagorno-Karabakh war in the fall of 2020] war, in January 2021, the interdepartmental commission dealing with Syunik [Province] issues, formed by the government's decision, has not been functioning since May 2022.

It was formed after the war in order to "coordinate the work being carried out toward identifying and urgently responding to the problems existing in Syunik Province," and was headed by the current provincial governor, Robert Ghukasyan, advisor to the prime minister at the time of its creation.

The interdepartmental group called meetings on a regular basis, diagnosed the problems, and tried to solve them.

And although the issues have not been fully resolved, according to our information, government representatives have stopped funding the project.
