Due to sanctions, Armenian, Kazakh and Hong Kong banks have started to block the payment of servers, microcircuits, processors, telecommunications equipment, and some other electronics for Russian legal entities, Kommersant newspaper wrote.

This trend is observed after the tenth set of US sanctions, which provides for restrictions on banks that cooperate with Russia. Restrictions include any provision of funds, goods or services to the blocked person.

The interlocutor of the newspaper noted that now the local companies have to import the necessary components for the production of electronics under the "alternative" codes of ТН ВЕД. In addition, the equipment can be delivered already assembled.

Another source of Ъ informed that the payment is also prohibited for the latest generation telecommunications equipment and servers. The Central Bank explained that "the compliance procedures of specific foreign banks depend on their internal policies and can be characterized by different degrees of rigidity in different regions."
