The 12-month (May 2023 compared to May 2022) inflation in Armenia's consumer market  was 1.3%, and a 1.8% drop was recorded compared to the previous month.

According to the data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the average monthly decrease in the country’s consumer prices in January-May 2023 was 0.2%; a 1.2% increase was recorded in the same period of the previous year.

In all monitored cities of Armenia, consumer prices decreased by 2.2% to 1.4% this May, compared to April. In the capital Yerevan, consumer prices decreased by 1.7%.
