There were attacks on Moscow in the statement by the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), stated this during Wednesday’s press briefing. She noted this commenting on the recent statement by the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, that Armenia will decline from the control of transport communications by the Russian border guard service in case of future unblocking of economic and transport ties with Azerbaijan.

"First of all, I would like the high-ranking representative of Armenia you mentioned to make a decision, nonetheless: either a normal dialogue, which is not only possible, but should be, and which we have experience with the Armenian side, or such statements. We choose the first," said Zakharova.

As for the matter of unblocking regional communications, according to the Russian MFA spox, this is being developed by the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia.

"Therefore, I do not consider it right to respond to those comments. It is the competence of the relevant representatives," Zakharova added.
