On June 7, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Michael Rott, chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the German Bundestag. The press service of the Foreign Ministry reports. 

During the meeting, the security situation in the region and the existing problems, which are the consequence of Azerbaijan's aggressive policy against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and the sovereign territory of Armenia, were discussed. Stressing the commitment of the Armenian side to resolving them, Minister Mirzoyan stressed the need for reciprocity in this approach on the part of Azerbaijan and fulfillment of its own obligations. The sides touched upon the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the efforts of interested international partners. Minister Mirzoyan presented the position of the Armenian side on key issues. Among other issues, the importance of addressing the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh was mutually stressed in the context of a lasting settlement.
