Between 2:25am and 2:35am Thursday, the armed forces of Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire—by using small arms—in the northern direction of the line of contact with Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

The Armenian side has no losses, the Artsakh Defense Army informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

This ceasefire violation was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh.

As of 10:30am Thursday, the situation on the line of contact is relatively stable.

At the same time, Azerbaijan continues to disseminate disinformation, in an attempt to justify the periodic violations of the ceasefire by its army units.

Accordingly, the statement disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan claiming that on Thursday morning, the Artsakh Defense Army units opened fire at the Azerbaijani positions located in the Azerbaijani-occupied territories of the Shushi region of Artsakh, and, also, tried to carry out fortification work in the Askeran region of Artsakh, which was allegedly disrupted as a result of the measures taken by the Azerbaijani army, is completely untrue.
