During her visit to Syunik Province of Armenia, US Ambassador Kristina Kvien met with local officials, civil society, and residents who shared their pervasive security concerns, the US Embassy in Yerevan noted on Facebook.
“The Ambassador also traveled to Tegh [village] where she observed first-hand the tense situation at the border [with Azerbaijan]. Everyone deserves the safety and security a just and durable peace would bring,” the embassy added, and posted some photos from this visit.
