The US is exerting unprecedented pressure on all the countries of the post-Soviet territory, with the aim of destroying the constructive relations between the countries of the former USSR, said Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, reports to RIA Novosti.

"Washington is putting unprecedented pressure on all the countries of the post-Soviet territory," Patrushev said on Thursday, in Belarusian Minsk, during the meeting between the secretaries of the security councils of the CSTO member countries, with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko.

According to the Russian Security Council chief, the main goal of the US is to destroy the constructive relations of the former USSR countries, as well as to obstruct the integration processes within the framework of the CIS, EAEU, and CSTO.

In order to implement their plans, the Anglo-Saxonsare are attempting—through blackmail, deception, and threats—to include in their circle the maximum number of countries, whose interests they do not even think to take into account, added Nikolai Patrushev.
