Ayhan Hajizadeh, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan, commented on the postponement of the meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, which was to be held next week in Washington D.C.

"The meeting is expected soon. As a rule, there is a practice of announcing the exact dates of the meeting by the coordinating organizing country," Hajizadeh said, Azerbaijani media reported.

Earlier, the Armenian MFA announced that the aforesaid Washington meeting was postponed at the request of the Azerbaijani side.
