Azerbaijani foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Toivo Klaar, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.
Bayramov and Klaar exchanged views on the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, the current state of talks being held with the mediation of international partners, including the EU, and discussed regional security issues, Azerbaijani media reported, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the EU supports the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and will spare no effort in the future to continue respective contacts between the political leadership of the two countries.
